本技术交底适用于一般建筑和高级建筑窗台板、暖气罩安装工程。
1．材料要求
(1)由于制作材料的不同，窗台板通常有以下几种：木制窗台板、水泥或水磨石窗台板、磨光天然石料窗台板和金属窗台板。
(2)暖气罩多为木制，制作构造按设计要求。
(3)窗台板、暖气罩制作材料的品种、材质、颜色应按设计选用，木制品应控制含水率在12%以内，并做好防腐处理， 不允许有扭曲变形。
(4)安装固定一般用角钢或扁钢做托架或挂架：窗台板按设计构造一般直接装在窗下墙顶面，用砂浆或豆石混凝土稳固。
2．主要机具
(1)电焊机、电动锯石机、手电钻。
(2)大刨子、小刨子、小锯、锤子、割角尺、橡皮锤、靠尺板、20号铅丝或小线、铁水平尺、木折尺、螺丝刀。
3．作业条件
(1)安装窗台板的窗下墙，在结构施工时应根据选用窗台板的品种，预埋木砖或铁件。
(2)窗台板长超过1500mm时，除靠墙两端下木砖或铁件外，中间应按500mm间距增埋木砖或铁件；跨空窗台板应按设计要求设支架。
