运河西路北起吴桥，南至下甸桥，在梁溪河入京杭大运河口处需建梁溪河桥。梁溪河桥整体呈西北——东南走向，与梁溪河呈斜交状，夹角约50度，河宽约158.0米；西北侧主要为湖滨码头及油库，分布少量建筑，地势较平坦，东南主要为堆砂场及建筑垃圾，地势稍有起伏。
运河西路梁溪河大桥是运河西路跨越梁溪河的一座桥梁。梁溪河大桥按连续梁方案实施，桥梁跨径布置为3x25+60+90+60+3x25米，桥梁计入桥台后总长为363.6米，桥梁宽度30.5米，桥梁建筑面积11089.8平方米。
