摘 要 润扬长江公路大桥全长7371m，南汊主桥为主跨1490m悬索桥，北汊主桥为主跨406m斜拉桥，引桥为预应力混凝土连续箱梁桥。本文重点介绍建设条件、总体布置、主桥结构、主要技术特点和科研创新工作。

  1. 前言
  润扬长江公路大桥是江苏省高速公路主骨架和五处跨长江公路通道规划中的项目，北联同江至三亚、北京至上海国道主干线，南接上海至成都、上海至瑞丽国道主干线，同时联接镇江、扬州两座历史文化名城。这座大桥的建设对完善我国交通网络总体布局、促进江苏乃至长江三角洲区域的经济繁荣、更好地发挥长江黄金水道的作用，都具十分重要的意义。
  2. 建设条件
  2.1 地形地貌
  润扬长江公路大桥位于长江镇扬河段世业洲汊道下段。长江南侧为宁镇山脉隆起区，属剥蚀低山丘陵地貌；长江北侧为长江冲积平原。桥址区地势平坦，地表高程3~4m，属长江冲积平原河漫滩地。世业洲分长江为北汊和南汊，长江河道在该段为江心洲河型。
  2.2 河道基本特征
