地暖系统的功能就在于弥补建筑物热量损失,维持房间温度,提供舒适、温暖的环境。要使地暖系统实现这一功能,就必须准确了解建筑物的热量损失。建筑物热量损失即建筑耗热量是指建筑物围护结构的传热量和空气渗透热损失。据此定义建筑物耗热量按如下式1计算:
