前言
本标准参考了日本JISK6785-1985《硬聚氯乙烯窗框用异型材》，在技术内容上与该日本工业标准基本一致。
对GB8814-88进行修订时，保留了GB8814-8中经实践证明适合我国情况又不影响标准先进性的内容，并对某些项目或指标进行了适当的修改，如：增加落锤锤头半径的规定：试样只限于在型材上截取，耐候性颜色变化分级考核：氧指数提高为38%；简支梁冲击强度一项采用ISO179：1993《塑料-----简支梁冲击强度的测定》方法进行测试等。
本标准从1999年5月1日起实施。
本标准从生效之日起，同时代替GB8814-88。
本标准由中国轻工总会提出。
本标准由全国塑料制品标准化技术委员会归口。
本标准起草单位：天津塑料研究所。

1范围
本标准规定了以聚氯乙烯树脂为主要原料，经挤出成型的门、窗框用型材（以下简称型材）的技术要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志、包装、运输、贮存。
本标准适用于门、窗框用硬聚氯乙烯型材。

1 Scope
This standard provides for polyvinyl chloride resin as the main raw material, extrusion of the doors, window frames with the profiles (the profiles) of technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marks, packaging, transportation and storage.
This standard applies to doors, window frames with a hard PVC profiles.
