概述

室内装饰材料是指用于建筑物内部墙面、天棚、柱面、地面等的罩面材料。严格地说，应当称为室内建筑装饰材料。
现代室内装饰材料，不仅能改善室内的艺术环境，使人们得到美的享受，同时还兼有绝热、防潮、防火、吸声、隔音等多种功能，起着保护建筑物主体结构，延长其使用寿命以及满足某些特殊要求的作用，是现代建筑装饰不可缺少的一类材料。
第一节 室内装饰材料的种类
室内装饰材料种类繁多，按材质分类有塑料、金属、陶瓷，玻璃、木材、无机矿物、涂料、纺织品、石材等种类，按功能分类有吸声、隔热、防水、防潮、防火、防霉、耐酸碱、耐污染等种类。按装饰部位分类则有墙面装饰材料、顶棚装饰材料、地面装饰材料。按装饰部位分类时，其类别与品种见表1—1。

Section types of interior decoration materials
A wide range of interior decoration materials, by material categories are plastics, metals, ceramics, glass, wood, inorganic minerals, paints, textiles, stone and other types, classified by function are sound absorption, heat insulation, waterproofing, moisture, fire, mold, acid and alkali resistance, and other types of pollution. Sort by decorative parts have wall decoration materials, ceiling decoration materials, surface decorative materials. Sort by decorative parts, its categories and varieties in Table 1-1.
